Behavioral Activation Group
Behavioral activation therapy (BAT) is the behavioral component of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Research supports BAT for depression and anxiety, as well as wellness/self improvement goals and general mood improvement.
Tasks of BAT are:
plan and schedule activities that improve mood and align with values and goals
BAT group will be offered Tuesday evenings January 9 to February 27 at 6:15pm cst/7:15pm est and is open to adults ages 24 and older in Louisiana and Florida. Group size is limited and group members are screened for rightness of fit.
